Meet Gerald
Relationships First,
Results Always.
“Gerald Filardi brings more than a decade of leadership experience in business development to his work at National Business Capital. Prior to joining NBC, he spent 12 years with a lender as Director of Business Development, where he built long-standing partnerships and helped businesses grow through strategic financing solutions. He holds a degree in Business Management from Penn State University.
What sets Gerald apart is his belief that funding is only part of the equation. He’s energized by NBC’s innovative approach to lending—one that goes beyond capital to build true partnerships and create meaningful impact for businesses. That purpose-driven mindset guides how he works with partners and clients alike, focusing on long-term success rather than short-term transactions.
Outside of work, Gerald is a devoted husband, father, and coach who values family, faith, and community above all else. A former football player at Penn State and with the Pittsburgh Steelers, he now serves as a head coach, dedicated to teaching young athletes the importance of effort, attitude, and toughness. He enjoys staying active, coaching football, and spending time with his wife Kim and their three sons—Gerald Jr., Jack, and Joseph. Gerald loves traveling, with St. Barts standing out as a favorite destination, and is a fan of Rocky II. A lifelong football enthusiast, he supports the New York Giants and lives by the philosophy: “Take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselves.” When he’s looking for reflection, he enjoys listening to The Bible in a Year.”
