Results Always.
Glen Reed brings a broad and seasoned perspective to his work at National Business Capital, built over a diverse career supporting both B2B and B2C businesses across technology, services, finance, retail, and manufacturing. Having worked through multiple waves of technological transformation—from the PC era to the rise of the internet and now the emergence of AI—Glen understands how change reshapes industries and creates opportunity. He believes today’s transformation is unprecedented and views this moment as an exciting time to build and evolve.
Glen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. He is an active member of the New York State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs, and earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College.
What sets Glen apart is his appreciation for teamwork and shared purpose. He values the opportunity to collaborate with thoughtful, motivated professionals who are aligned in building a premier provider of growth capital. While he acknowledges that some days are challenging, he believes the work itself is consistently rewarding and that progress is strongest when achieved together.
Outside of work, Glen enjoys staying active—especially outdoors in colder weather—and continually seeks growth and new perspectives. He is passionate about photography, particularly black-and-white imagery, and values time spent at destinations like Mohonk Mountain House. A fan of Ford vs. Ferrari and endurance athletics, he appreciates the discipline behind marathons and ultramarathons. Glen applies a structured mindset to both life and work, inspired by problem-solving frameworks that emphasize questioning assumptions, simplifying processes, accelerating execution, and continuous improvement. He remains actively involved in volunteer leadership, serving as Treasurer and Board Member for organizations including Friends of Connetquot, the Bayard Cutting Arboretum Horticultural Society, and the Great South Bay Audubon Society. Above all, Glen is a proud granddad, dad, and son—and a grateful husband who counts his blessings daily.
“Musk’s framework for problem solving (the algorithm): 1. Question every requirement, 2. Delete any part of the process you can, 3. Simplify and optimize, 4. Accelerate cycle time, 5. Automate”
