John Casamassina

John Casamassina brings a strong background in business solutions and client engagement to his work at National Business Capital. Prior to joining NBC, he spent time selling cloud-based human capital management (HCM) solutions and business outsourcing services, experience that sharpened his ability to understand how companies operate and scale. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland.

What sets John apart is his energy and connection to the people around him. Since joining NBC, he’s embraced the company’s culture of collaboration and community, enjoying everything from team bike tours in New York City to local 5Ks, group lunches, and team dinners. He values being part of an environment where relationships are built both inside and outside the office.

Outside of work, John is highly active and loves being outdoors. He enjoys boating in the summer and snowboarding in the winter, and spends his free time hiking, cliff jumping, and seeking out new adventures—skydiving is next on his list. Italy stands out as a favorite place he’s traveled, and he’s a fan of That ’70s Show. A proud supporter of Maryland Terrapins athletics, John lives by the mindset “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” When he’s looking for perspective, he recommends Don’t Believe Everything You Think by Joseph Nguyen, and prefers the energy of the city.
