Katherine Groovenhoff

Katherine Groovenhoff brings a strong background in account management and client support to her role at National Business Capital. Prior to joining NBC, she spent five years as an Account Manager at a technology company, experience that sharpened her ability to manage relationships, solve problems, and support long-term client success. She earned her bachelor’s degree from LIU Post.

What sets Katherine apart is her collaborative mindset. She values NBC’s team-first culture, where people genuinely support one another and celebrate each other’s wins. Working in an environment where collaboration and shared success are the norm is what motivates her most and shapes how she works with both colleagues and partners.

Outside of work, Katherine is a proud mom to her five-year-old son and a devoted dog owner—her dog Frodo is named after The Lord of the Rings. She enjoys shopping, traveling, and spending time with family, with Puerto Rico standing out as a favorite destination. A self-described (and self-aware) New York Jets fan, Katherine also lives by the philosophy, “I’ll ride the wave where it takes me.” When she’s looking for something to listen to, she enjoys the Basement Yard podcast.
