Meet Robert
Relationships First,
Results Always.
“Robert Conners brings a diverse and well-rounded financial background to his work at National Business Capital. Prior to joining NBC, he built experience across multiple areas of finance and business, including time with a commercial real estate private equity firm, roles in both personal and commercial insurance, and several years as a financial advisor. He previously held Series 7 and 66 licenses, maintains certifications in Property, Casualty, and Liability Insurance, and earned a B.A. from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business.
What sets Robert apart is his peer-to-peer approach. He values working directly with partners and business owners—the backbone of the economy—and brings perspective, respect, and practical insight to every relationship. His broad exposure across financial disciplines allows him to understand challenges from multiple angles and help clients think strategically about growth and risk.
Outside of work, Robert is a proud father of four—Rowan, Peyton, Soleil, and Bastian—and values family above all else. He enjoys golfing and snowboarding, traveling to destinations like Turks and Caicos, and unwinding with films such as Vikings and Snatch. A lifelong sports fan, he supports the New York Giants, Yankees, Knicks, and Rangers. Robert lives by the philosophy that resilience matters most, reflected in his favorite quote: “Sometimes you’re flush and sometimes you’re bust… but life goes on.” When he’s listening in, he enjoys The Tim Dillon Show podcast.”
“Sometimes you’re flush and sometimes you’re bust, and when you’re up, it’s never as good as it seems, and when you’re down, you never think you’ll be up again, but life goes on”
